Alissa has called both coasts and the middle of the country her home as she widened her breadth of marketing experience from her days in the music industry in Los Angeles to her agency experience in Chicago.

She enjoys riding horses and waves, listening to all eras of music, road trips in hippie-vans (She actually did live in a van down by the river for two months), and has an endless fascination with cars-spawned in her Cali days by a 1960 Buick. Alissa can give any 3-year-old a run for their money playing the "why" game, with her natural curiosity for new places and people explaining why her favorite books and websites includes "How Stuff Works" and anything Wiki.

In 2007 Alissa jumped headlong into Portico where a blend of adventure, geeky love for marketing strategy and natural curiosity drives her passion for making a difference. Her can-do attitude and willingness to figure things serve her well both while interviewing and in helping to manage PortiCo's growth.
